A cat couldn’t be absent in the exercise-books and note-books destined to students.
In the past an exercise-book or note-book had an indirect educational aim as it had an illustration on the cover and a text inside explaining the illustration.
Among the exercise-books representing cats many are connected with the fable “Puss in Boots”, others with other tales, while some describe it from a naturalistic point of view.
